Ring Sling Image Instructions

Ring Slings are newborn ready and can be used for a hip carry which is particularly suitable for smaller babies. This guide outlines step-by-step image instructions on how to use the Ring Sling.

Hang the ring sling over your shoulder and hold the top rail.

Make sure the wrap isn’t twisted.

Fold the fabric of the tail together like an accordion.

Fold neatly.

Hold the accordion in one hand and the rings in the other hand.

Pull the fabric through both rings from underneath.

Seperate the rings.

Pull the fabric over the top ring and under the bottom ring.

Make sure the fabric is spread through the rings evenly without twists.

Find the right position of the rings, high on the shoulder.

The pouch should be at hip height.

Pick up your baby.

Rest your baby over your shoulder and put one hand, from bottom to top, through the pouch.

Take your baby’s feet and guide them through the pouch.

Take your baby’s feet and guide them through the pouch, letting your baby sit on the pouch with spread legs.

Pull the upper fabric rail up to the ears while holding your baby with one hand.

Take the bottom rail and pull it up between you and your baby, creating a seat.

Move all slack in the bottom rail by guiding it in the direction of the rings.

Move all slack in the top rail by guiding it in the direction of the rings.

Move all slack in the direction of the rings, whilst keeping the rings in the right position.

Repeat until you have lost all slack in the pouch.

Keep holding your baby with one hand.

Tighten the upper rail by pulling in the direction as shown.

Tighten the middle part by pulling in the direction as shown.
